In case of consumer complaints mostly related to online purchases and travel- tourist services  against traders based in the United Kingdom the alternative assistance forums (national member of European Consumer Centres’ Network /ECC-Net/ operating in the Ministry for Innovation and Technology, alternative dispute resolution forums) will still be available for the Hungarian consumers. Furthermore, regarding the authority cooperation and action, in the event of infringements of consumer protection legislation committed by UK companies the action of the UK consumer protection authorities may also be requested within the framework of the CPC system regulating the cooperation between EU consumer protection authorities.
